This area of our website contains information about Work Based Learning for Young People, which is one of the options available to young people when they complete their final year in school.
You can get details about the other options from your careers library, careers teacher, careers coordinator or your connexions personal advisor in school.
Look for information about local sixth forms and colleges and then decide which is the best option or route for you.
Choosing the right route is important for your future career, so we have put a lot of information on this website to help you decide whether the Work Based Learning route is the right one for you. There are details about working and qualifications in Accountancy, Hospitality, Engineering, Information Technology and many more. There are examples of young people from South Yorkshire who are on the Work Based Learning route talking about what they have done and what they think about their experience. Finally there are details about the different training providers you can train with.
